New River Trail State Park : Cliffview Campground Galax VA Make reservations at (800) 933-PARK or online. 10 primitive campsites with 3 horse campsites available with enclosed area for horses. Horse campers must park at Cliffview Ranger Station on Rt. 721 just outside Galax VA.
